Cohiba Black
Coming out with a sequel to an all-time great is both a daunting task and a risky gamble, but when Cohiba Black was introduced, the cigar world welcomed with open arms, the maduro-wrapped counterpart to one of the most celebrated cigars of all time. The product of classic cigar wizard Daniel Nunez, Cohiba Black, takes the most desirable characteristics of the original Cohiba blend and adds the rich, chocolaty flavor that old time maduro cigars are known for. Made in the Dominican Republic, this blend features 3-year-aged Dominican Piloto Cubano filler leaves with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a jet-black, glistening Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. When this blend was first introduced, it was a reason for maduro fans everywhere to rejoice, as Cohiba putting their name on a maduro cigar was then unheard of.
