Quesada Jalapa
Manuel Quesada is known for not only making some unbelievable cigars but also experimenting with strains of tobacco leaf which are very rare. Quesada Jalapa fits both of these categories. Made in the Dominican Republic, this vitola is filled with premium aged Dominican and Nicaraguan filler and has a Dominican binder. The experimental part of this cigar is the wrapper. Grown by the Plascencia family in Nicaragua, the Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper is what gives this cigar not only its name but the bulk of its flavor. Only a few hundred bales of this rare tobacco were produced, and only 1000 boxes of each size of the Quesada Jalapa were made. (See more Quesada Cigars)
