The Partagas 1845 cigar, as though the brand's original offerings hadn't long ago vanquished any pretenders to the crown, seeks to emphasize the iconic Partagas name as #1 among full-bodied fanatics. To build upon the world-class reputation their cigars are known, for, only a man with his own world-class reputation would suffice, and lucky for us, the renowned Benji Menendez was up to the task. To accomplish his mission, Benji created an exclusive blend of only the most select ligero and seco from the best Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos that had already been taken to the next level by being aged in Dominican rum barrels. To this exquisite mix he added a proprietary Connecticut Habano binder before finishing with an Ecuadorian Habano Viso wrapper.
