Padilla Reserva
The Padilla Reserva Habano cigar is hereby serving notice that Ernesto Padilla is back. Back big. Now that you think about it, you really haven't noticed many Padillas around lately, have you? Strange at it may sound for brand with a plethora of 90-plus ratings, this was by design. Ernesto wanted to get back to his roots as a boutique cigar maker so he discontinued a number of his too-big-to-fail frontmarks, hid away in what was probably a really cool and inspirational man-cave, and came out bearing the Padilla Reserva line. The Habano version is graced with an sleek Ecuadorian wrapper laid over a triple threat of Nicaraguan fillers from Esteli, Jalapa, and Condega.
Picking right up where he left off, Padilla has another winner in the Reserva Habano cigar. With a complexity that rivals some of his previous smokes and a medium to full body, this cigar should please any connoisseur. While they're still in stock, you might want to compare to some of Ernesto's older cigars like the spectacular Padilla Signature 1932.
