La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor

Banded with the classic La Aroma De CUba band, there is a secondary band informing you it is a Mi Amor. Besides the additional band, the most striking thing is the wrapper leaf. Very dark brown and with almost no veins to speak of, we knew right away we were in for a treat. First light introduced our palate to a very slight tinge of spice, as is the case with most Garcia-made cigars, but this quickly subsided into a smooth creaminess. There was definitely a slight sweetness on the lips, but nothing too powerful. Most striking was the change in strength while smoking. What started as a full-on, medium-bodied cigar grew in strength with each third. Never getting too strong; La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor ended up just a hair over the medium-body line. Another thing to note is the amazing construction. Burning straight as an arrow, we were able to keep the ash in place until almost the band.

La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor is a medium-bodied masterpiece perfect for everyone's humidor. The subtleties and increasing strength and flavor made this a perfect cigar for the morning. Paired perfectly with our morning cup of coffee, we were ready to start our day after enjoying this on our deck. For a slightly different flavor profile, we would also recommend the regular La Aroma De Cuba.
