La Aroma De Cuba Reserva

The well-known La Aroma De Cuba band is augmented with a band of red and gold, letting us know it is a Mi Amor Reserva. Without this band we would still know we we were in for something a little more special though. The deep, chocolatey-brown oscuro wrapper is something that needs to be seen. Pre-light, the wrapper left a slight sweetness on the lips, but post flame it was all about the spice. Never overpowering, the signature Pepin spice was always present, but so were tastes of cedar and a slight cocoa finish. One of the most astonishing things was how well this cigar held onto its ash. If we didn't tip it every so often, it seemed that ash would hold on until the very last puff.

With its peppery core, yet sweet finish, La Aroma De Cuba Reserva is a cigar that needs to be experienced by everyone who loves full-bodied smokes. That unique flavor pairing went extremely well with a nice smoked brisket and a cool IPA. For different flavors but the same quality, you can not go wrong with either the La Aroma De Cuba or My Father cigars from the same factory.
