A. Flores Serie Privada Capa Maduro SP 54 (Toro) Cigars

The PDR A. Flores Serie Privada Capa Maduro SP 54 (Toro) is the type of cigar that makes you believe Abe Flores is capable of magic. How else to explain the transformation of humble tobacco into such a sublime experience with the simple addition of time and heat and air? Working deep within the heart of La Fabrica, Abe gathered the factory's oldest Habano and Corojo, long-leaf conjured from Nicaraguan and Domincan farms both large and small, and used them to summon complex flavors and pungent aromas to amaze and astound smokers across the globe.

The cigar starts out with rich leather and a cumin-like spiciness, adds in some bitter herbs and earth in the second third, and finishes with black pepper. Medium in the beginning, it transitions to a buzzing medium-full right around the halfway point, so a good meal is recommended to prevent a heavy hit to the belly. With the knowledgeable smoker sufficiently prepared, the Privada EE Habano offers major satisfaction and relaxation, even more so when paired with a fine malt whisky. As satisfying as a Rocky Patel Decade or even the legendary Padron 1964 Natural, this cigar is a definite must-try.
